My name is Hayley Collins, I am 17 years old and I am the owner of HDC Media. Currently I am a digital media student who is very passionate about filmmaking and photography. I have been in love with photography ever since I was little, but have only recently started taking photography up as a hobby. When I was little I loved watching movies and always going to the cinema, however it wasn't until I was older that I realised how much work goes on behind the scenes of the movie.  I didn't fall in love with filmmaking until a couple of years ago when I went into my first GCSE media lesson. It was at that moment that I realised what a big industry the media is and how much work goes on behind the making of a movie. It was at that moment that I knew that I wanted to be a part of this industry. Ever since then, after I watch a film that I thought was really good, I would look up the behind the scenes of the film and look into how they filmed some of the shots. It amazed me how this was done and knew that I wanted to be a part of it. It wasn't until I went to college two years later, that I discovered a bunch of professional careers and possibilities in this industry and figured out what I want to do when I am older. College also helped me learn a lot of different skills and have been given a lot of experience. I hope to continue to develop these skills and to hopefully gain more experience.
